The KV-2 was put into production in 1941. Its main characteristic is the shape of the turret which is like a big box, hexangular cylindrical shaped and armed with a 152 mm cannon.  When this tank was captured by the Germans they kept the original armament but added the Pz. III/IV command hatch.
